Blogging Basics

So...2nd day of my junior year, and I thought I'd go all out that day rather than on the first. Got so many complements on this outfit, I had to share it with you guys! But let me tell you, fashion blogging isn't easy . Living in the suburbs, it's very difficult to create a wonderful experience you could share with others.
Posing was a little hard for me since it was my first time, but Jenny guided me through it. We started off at my backyard then drove to the neighborhood lake to get some inspiration. I saw a rugged tree stump, and thought why not sit on it for the pictures? The ruggedness of it would've contrasted with the ethereal movement of my skirt. I removed the bark on the surface...YIKES! Pill bugs! Cross that off the list. As we walked through, trying to avoid snakes and gopher holes, my feet were killing me after wearing these wedges for 7 hours at school. But after itchy grass, blinding sun, and sore feet, I thought the pictures turned out quite lovely. Man, those bloggers make it look so effortless! But hey, what we do for fashion right?

Just thought this tree was cool with its isolation to its surroundings.

So I decided that in this blog, I would attach a song with each post that I feel depicts the mood. Followers can just read and relax with the music. Just like fashion, music can set a tone. Hope you enjoy!

  1. I love this post!I totally agree with all you wrote. I frequently realize I do crazy things just for fashion sake. The pictures are amazing though and I love the wedges and the photographer's blazer! Really good as a start!

  2. Oh thank you, you inspired me! With all my busy schoolwork, i was questioning if I even have enough time to blog and if I should quit it! But your comment reminded me of the positive feedback I would love to hear from others!
